Gambling is entertainment — it should be enjoyable, within your budget and completely in your control. Pakgam provides a full set of responsible gambling tools so you can set your own limits, take breaks and access support whenever you need it. This guide covers everything you need to know about playing safely on the Pakgam platform.
Cap how much you deposit daily, weekly or monthly — in PKR.
Set a maximum session length and get reminders during play.
Temporarily or permanently close your account access.
At Pakgam, responsible gambling is not a compliance checkbox — it is a core part of how the platform operates. Every user has access to tools that put them in control of their own experience: spending limits, time caps, cooling-off periods and permanent self-exclusion. These tools are available in your Account settings without needing to raise a support ticket.
Gambling problems do not always look dramatic. They often develop gradually — a few extra bets after a losing session, spending a little more than planned, or finding it harder to walk away. That is why we encourage all Pakgam users — whether they are placing bets on PSL cricket matches, T20 internationals, football leagues or casino games — to check in on their own habits regularly and use the tools available to them.
Pakistani users should also be aware that online gambling carries legal risk under Pakistani law. The Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 restricts gambling in Pakistan. Pakgam does not hold a local Pakistani licence and does not provide legal advice. Users are responsible for understanding their own legal position before accessing gambling services.
Gambling is not a solution to financial difficulty. If you are experiencing financial stress — managing bills, covering household expenses in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or any other city — gambling is not a path out. Please seek financial advice and reach out to a support organisation if needed.
Treat gambling as entertainment spending — like going to a PSL match or a night out. Set a fixed amount in PKR and stop when it is gone. Never gamble with rent money, bill money or savings.
Deciding your deposit and loss limits in advance — before opening a session — protects you from in-the-moment decisions driven by emotion, adrenaline or frustration after a losing run.
Increasing bet sizes after a losing session — "chasing" to recover losses — is one of the most common patterns linked to problem gambling. When you hit your loss limit, stop. Walk away.
Time passes quickly during gambling sessions. Set session time reminders and step away regularly. Use the cool-off period if you feel like your session is getting out of hand.
Gambling is one form of entertainment — not a lifestyle, not an income source and not a way to handle stress or boredom. If it starts feeling like an obligation, that is a signal to take a break.
Every tool below is available inside your Account settings. No support ticket required to set or lower a limit. Increases have a mandatory delay.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit per day, per week or per month — displayed in PKR. Once your limit is reached, deposits are blocked for the remainder of the period. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a mandatory review period.
Cap the maximum amount you can lose within a defined time period. When your loss limit is reached, further wagers are blocked until the period resets. This tool is particularly effective at preventing runaway losing sessions.
Set a maximum session duration before you are automatically logged out. Paired with reality check pop-ups — periodic on-screen notifications showing time played and net session result — so you always know where you stand.
At intervals you choose — every 15, 30 or 60 minutes — a reality check pop-up appears showing how long you have been playing and your net session result. You can end the session or continue. These prompts help keep gambling in perspective.
Take a voluntary break without fully closing your account. Cool-off periods range from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During a cool-off, your account is inaccessible and promotional emails are suspended. The cool-off cannot be reversed once activated.
For users who need a longer or permanent break, self-exclusion closes your account access for a minimum of 6 months up to permanent. Self-exclusion is processed within one business day. Requests cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It typically develops gradually, and many people do not recognise it in themselves until it has already caused significant harm. Below are common warning signs. If several of these apply to you — or to someone you know in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or anywhere in Pakistan — it is worth pausing and seeking support.
You consistently deposit more than your original budget, or you deposit again after losing your initial amount for the session.
Gambling occupies your thoughts during work, family time or sleep. You find yourself planning your next session while in the middle of something else.
After a losing session, you feel compelled to bet again immediately to "win it back." This pattern is a very strong warning sign and often leads to escalating losses.
You avoid mentioning how much you bet, delete transaction records or feel ashamed discussing your gambling with family members or friends.
You use gambling as a way to avoid thinking about financial stress, relationship difficulties, work pressures or other real-life challenges.
You have borrowed money from friends, family or financial institutions specifically to fund gambling activity. This is a serious warning sign that requires immediate action.
Pakgam is strictly an adults-only platform. Access is limited to individuals aged 18 years and over — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction. Age verification is completed as part of the KYC process before any withdrawal is processed.
For parents and guardians: If your household device is shared with children, please install parental control software to restrict access to online gambling websites. Examples include family safety tools built into Windows, Android and iOS, as well as dedicated filtering applications. Pakgam supports your efforts to keep gambling away from minors.
If you believe a minor has accessed or registered on the Pakgam Platform, please contact support at [email protected] immediately. The account will be investigated and closed, and data will be deleted in accordance with Pakgam's Privacy Policy.

You are not alone. Gambling problems are more common than people realise and they are treatable. Taking the step to seek help — whether through a helpline, a counsellor or simply activating self-exclusion on your Pakgam account — is a sign of strength. If a family member is concerned about a loved one's gambling habits, the same support resources are available to them.
Online gambling is subject to the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and other applicable Pakistani legislation. Pakgam does not hold a local Pakistani gambling licence and does not claim its services are lawful under Pakistani law. Users in Pakistan are solely responsible for understanding and complying with applicable local law. This page does not constitute legal advice.
References to familiar Pakistani payment methods — including Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah — are made as contextual references only. All forms of gambling — sports betting, casino games, live dealer games — involve real financial risk and the possibility of losing all funds wagered. Past results do not predict future outcomes. No betting strategy guarantees profit. Only gamble with funds you can afford to lose.
The responsible gambling tools described on this page are available as part of the Pakgam platform. Tool availability, processing times and specific settings may be updated from time to time. Please refer to your Account Settings for the current configuration and options available to you.
Now that you know the tools, the warning signs and the support resources available, you are better equipped to enjoy gambling as what it should be — entertainment, not stress. Visit the homepage, read the FAQ or check the Terms & Conditions for more information.
